Why is my tracker history route not following the road?

Our rechargeable trackers upload their location information every 30-40 seconds to our servers, which would present as the green dots. With the tracker only reporting back every 30-40 seconds, it isn't able to pick up if you've gone around a corner,  so it joins the dots after it has uploaded this information to our servers, with red lines joining between to show the route taken.

This is standard across the industry because it extends battery life, so you don't have to charge it as often.

Unfortunately, only our wired trackers show 'Cornering', which means that your tracker uploads more frequently than our standard 30-40 seconds, so it would more closely follow your route.

If you would like your tracker to follow your route more closely, we recommend returning your Mag tracker and purchasing one of our 'Wired' trackers instead.
