The offline and online indicators on the "My Trackers" page of the mobile app and the "Live Tracking" page in the web app are based on the last time we received a 'ping' from your tracker.
Your tracker sends a 'ping' every 3 minutes, 24 hours a day, to our cloud to let us know it's still online. We wait about 5 minutes of silence from your tracker before displaying it as offline.
This is because we have to wait 3 minutes to account for the time between these 'pings', and then we give your tracker an extra 2 minutes in case you briefly take it into a tunnel or shielded area.
This adds a slight lag to the online/offline indicator.
