My SafeTag Volt is "Awaiting Connection"

Firstly, please make sure you have carefully followed all steps in your product setup and activation guide.


This means your tracker hasn't booted up yet, or is unable to establish a network connection.


Could you please follow the following steps?

1. Please confirm that the device has power by checking that the U-clips are securely attached to the correct battery terminals.
The red wire should be attached to the positive terminal, and the black wire should be attached to the negative terminal.

You can check your installation is correct by comparing it to the installation video below;

2. Please ensure that the device is in an open space: moving the device may yield better results.


3. Please ensure that you are in an area where there is a 4G or 2G signal, so that the device can establish a network connection.


If all the above steps fail, please keep your tracker subscription active and contact us. We will get your tracker up and running in no time at all.
